Vine Wire Connector

Description

Vine wire connectors are perfect for splicing, joining, or extending smooth wire in trellis applications. These connectors are suitable for use in any vineyard trellising system, contributing to cost efficiency. Vine wire connectors are both fast and reliable and require no tools during installation. Not only are they removable and reusable, but they also provide excellent physical and electrical connections.

Application

Fits on standard wire gauge sizes 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 12.5, 13, 14, and 15.

How to use

When terminating trellis wire (use one vine wire connector)

1. Bring end of wire to be terminated to where it is touching the wire that it is to be terminated to.
2. Starting at the center mark, lay end of terminating wire into the curl, holding the vine wire connector with your thumb and finger.
3. Proceed to wrap remainder of wire into rest of the curls.
4. Wrap the other half of the connector onto the wire that you are terminating.

When splicing (use two vine wire connectors)

1. Starting at the center mark, lay one end of wire into the curl of the first connector.
2. Wrap other half of the first connector onto other end of wire to be spliced. Ensure a tight and secure connection.
3. Repeat the process with the second vine wire connector by laying it into the open curls of the first one.
